Monday-Friday, 9am to 6pm SG time
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with expertise in both CodeIgniter 3 and 4 to join us in solving bugs and developing new functions and features that we have already defined. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in back-end technologies, developing, and maintaining web applications that meet our needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Back-end Development:
Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and databases for web applications using CodeIgniter 3 and 4. Create and optimize database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and interact with databases for data storage and retrieval.
Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services as required. Ensure web application security by following best practices and addressing common vulnerabilities. Maintain repository by pushing daily updates through git after testing in a staging environment.
Code Maintenance and Quality Assurance:
Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot and debug issues as needed.
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
Perform thorough testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of web applications.
Keep up-to-date with emerging web development trends, technologies, and best practices.
Project Management and Collaboration:
Collaborate with a Front-End Engineer to deliver high-quality projects on time. Contribute to project planning and estimation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a PHP Developer with expertise in both CodeIgniter 3 and 4.
Proficiency in PHP and CodeIgniter 3 & 4 framework.
Experience with databases (MySQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.
Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Gitlab and GitHub).
Solid understanding of web security best practices.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
